Graduate Studies: Tuition Per Credit Hour

Tuition at the graduate level is assessed by the number of credit hours enrolled (per credit hour). The cost of graduate programs varies depending on the field of study; additional fees and exceptions may apply.

  • Activity: $45
  • Health Clinic: $37
  • Athletic: $58
  • Info Tech Fee: $17
  • Sustainability Fee: $5

All charges are assessed on the student’s official account through the Business Office. Their general hours of operation are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. The Cashier’s Window is open from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Payments should be made payable to Truman State University. Notes:

  • Additional special class fees may be assessed depending upon individual course selection.
  • Students taking a combination of undergraduate and graduate hours will be assessed separately for the number of undergraduate and graduate hours taken.
  • The maximum standard graduate class load (for fall and spring semesters) is 15 credits. Graduate students must obtain permission from the Registrar’s Office to enroll in 16 graduate credits or more. The University will charge an overload fee for 16 credits or more.
