John Kreicbergs discovered the critical thinking and communication skills he developed as a music major at Truman State University easily translated to other areas when he pursued a career in marketing and advertising in Kansas City. The learning environment at Truman, combined with his own sense of curiosity, allowed John to explore different areas of study and to try out new things. Although he graduated back in 1998, he finds himself working in an industry where nothing is static, and he continues to apply a lot of the things he picked up during his time in Kirksville.
