As a graduate student at Truman, you have access to a variety of resources. These offices and departments offer services that can help make your time at Truman more successful.

  • Bookstore
    Visit the Truman bookstore in the lower level of the Student Union Building for all your textbook, apparel, and school supplies needs.
  • Career Center
    Don’t stress about that big interview! Instead, visit Truman’s Career Center in the Student Union Building and get great interview tips, job search advice, or help sprucing up that resume.
  • Counseling Services
    Truman offers individual and group counseling services for students who have personal problems they would like to discuss with someone.
  • Dining on Campus
    Need a quick meal or snack? Visit one of Truman’s many dining halls or campus convenience stores! You’ll find a wide selection of options.
  • Health Center
    The Student Health Center keeps you healthy — or gets you back on the road to recovery when you need it. Our nurses and collaborating physician treat acute illnesses and minor injuries, give immunizations, educate patients, and provide reproductive health services, among other services.
  • Housing
    Interested in living on campus? Contact Residence Life — we will help you explore on-campus housing options to find the best fit for you.
  • ITS
    With Truman’s ITS department behind your back, you’ll never let “technical difficulties” get in the way of submitting that big research paper on time again. You can submit a ticket for help online, or you can visit their staff in the ITS office, conveniently located on the second floor of Pickler Memorial Library.
  • Library
    From collaborative workstations to coffee and scones at Starbucks, Pickler Memorial Library provides everything an industrious student like you needs.
  • Parking
    Truman offers parking lots for both on-campus residents and students who commute to the university. Remember to register your vehicle through the Department of Public Safety before parking on campus.
  • Public Safety
    Truman’s Department of Public Safety works hard to provide a safe, comfortable environment for all members of the Truman community . Public Safety also offers crime prevention programs.
  • Recreation Center
    Healthy minds deserve a healthy body. The Student Recreation Center on campus offers classes and personalized training and features a weight room, cardiovascular training area, aerobics room, lockers, multipurpose gym, and a track.
  • Writing Center
    Is your thesis giving you fits? Visit the Writing Center to get advice on everything from brainstorming to revising spelling and grammar.
