Truman offers a number of Graduate Teaching/Research Assistantship (GTRA) positions for qualified applicants pursuing a master’s degree in:
The GTRA positions allow graduate students to augment their studies by working with faculty and administrators in professional experiences. The assistantship includes a cash stipend and a fee waiver of up to nine credit hours per academic semester. All books, supplies, and special course fees are the responsibility of the student. The GTRA is contracted to work on a one-fourth time (quarter-time) basis, and some assistantships are renewable for a second year.

You can indicate your interest in GTRA positions when you complete the Application for Graduate Programs - Current Graduate Student
You can apply or reapply for a GTRA position by submitting the Current Graduate Student GTRA Application along with required documentation to the Graduate Office
Application Deadline
All applications (and materials, including test scores) must be received prior to Feb. 15 to be considered for a GTRA for the following school year. Mid-year GTRA positions may be available. Ask your program director if you would like to be considered for a position starting in January.
