Human Anatomy Lab

Health and Exercise Sciences Lab Facilities

All health science and exercise science students at Truman have the opportunity to use the Human Anatomy Laboratory located near downtown Kirksville on the campus of the Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine (KCOM) in conjunction with A.T. Still University. Students use the lab to identify structures discussed in the lecture portion of the Human Anatomy course.

The lab also contains human cadavers to assist the students in the understanding of the interrelationship of the human body’s systems and structures. In addition, the lab has a large selection of human bones and a variety of human organs including brains, lungs, hearts, and spinal cords.

The laboratory is used by classes during the day and is open for study in the evenings.
