Woods has represented lenders, owners, tax credit investors and not-for-profit organizations in all forms of commercial real estate developments and has closed transactions in more than 30 states. Woods has been named to the Best Lawyers in America every year since 2017 and was named Lawyer of the Year for Real Estate Law for the St. Louis area in 2021.
Woods served on the Board of Directors of St. John Vianney High School in Kirkwood, Mo., from 2006-2024, was chairperson of the school’s Board of Directors from 2016 through 2020, and was elected into the school’s Hall of Fame in 2026. Woods is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Alumni Volunteer Corporation for the Truman State chapter of Sigma Phi Epsilon, of which he was a member while attending Truman.
A 1996 graduate of Truman, Woods lives in Sunset Hills, Mo., with his wife, Julie.
