October Open House

Whatever stage of the college search process you are in, we have designed the October Senior Open House to be informative and engaging. Go on a campus tour, meet with a faculty member, attend an application workshop, hear from a panel of current students, and more! This event is for high school seniors and their families only. If you are a younger student or a transfer student, check out our other visit opportunities.

Tentative Schedule of Events

9:30 am – 10:00 am

Check In at Baldwin Hall. You will receive a welcome packet.

10:00 am – 10:45 am

Welcome and Truman Information Presentation at the Baldwin Hall Little Theatre featuring a welcome from the President and admission and scholarship information.

10:45 am – 12:00 pm

Campus Tour: Hear directly from our students! Our Student Ambassadors will guide you through our beautiful walking campus tour showcasing our facilities, explaining our resources, and sharing why they love being a Truman student!

12:00 pm – 1:00 pm

Lunch in the Student Union Building.

1:00 pm  – 1:30 pm

Student Panel: A panel of current students will be available to answer any questions and provide their perspective on life as a Bulldog.

1:30 pm – 2:00 pm

(students only) Application Tips & Tricks: Learn from the Admissions counselors about how to make your application stand out in the admission and competitive scholarship review.

Financial Aid: Hear about financial aid and Truman’s commitment to affordability.

2:30 pm – 4:00 pm

Faculty or Student Service Meeting Requests

  • Appointment requests must be on the RSVP form.
  • Requests are not guaranteed, but we will try our best to confirm a meeting.
  • You will receive a confirmation email with your schedule on Friday, October 11th.

Admissions Counselor Meeting
