Paint the Town Purple – Phoenix

You’re invited to the first ever Paint the Town Purple domestic travel event. Bulldogs near and far can escape the winter chill in Phoenix, Arizona, January 23-25, 2026. Events include an alumni and friends reception, golf, hiking and more. The weekend is flexible – join us for one or multiple events as your schedule and interest allow.
Bulldog guides will be at all the stops along the way, and there is enough free time for you to explore the best that Phoenix has to offer on your own.
- Friday, January 23, 12 p.m. – Golf excursion at Arizona Grand Resort (Tee times begin at 12 noon. A limited number of spots are available)
- Friday, January 23, 6 p.m. – Alumni & Friends Reception at the Arizona Grand Resort (free for alumni & friends)
- Saturday, January 24, 9 a.m. – Hike departing from Arizona Grand Resort
- Saturday, January 24, 12 p.m. – Lunch near the Desert Botanical Gardens
- Saturday, January 24, 2:30 p.m. – Desert Botanical Gardens
- Sunday, January 25, 10 a.m. – Farewell brunch at the Arizona Grand Resort
