Greg Hardin joins the Truman State Football staff in 2024 and will coach the wide receivers.
Hardin had previous stops at Western Illinois and Robert Morris University as well as spending time in the National Football League and Canadian Football League.
In 2023 at WIU, the Leathernecks threw for over 2000 yards and completed 61% of their pass attempts. Three receivers caught over 20 passes with Jay Parker leading the way with 60 receptions and 475 yards. He was also the recruiting coordinator at Western Illinois.
In three seasons at Robert Morris, Hardin helped the Colonials post their first winning season in almost 10 years in 2019 with an overall record of 7-5 (.583), including a mark of 6-1 (.857) in the Northeast Conference (NEC).
Hardin started his coaching career in 2015 and 2016 at Millersville (Pa.).
He is a native of Bellevue, Neb., earned a Bachelor of Arts and Science degree in marketing from the University of North Dakota in 2014. While a student-athlete with the Fighting Sioux, Hardin concluded his career as the program’s all-time leading receiver, establishing records for receptions (216) and receiving yards (3,583). He also hauled in 31 career touchdown catches, which ranks second in the UND record book.
As a senior in 2013 at North Dakota, Hardin established a single-season school record with 2,017 all-purpose yards. He concluded the year with 67 receptions for 1,153 yards and five touchdowns and also returned 36 kickoff returns for 854 yards and two scores. A two-time All-Big Sky First Team honoree (2012, 2013), Hardin also was named an All-American by both The Sports Network and the Associated Press in 2013. As a junior in 2012, Hardin was named the College Football Performance Awards FCS Elite Wide Receiver of the Year after finishing with 65 receptions for 1,145 yards and 14 touchdowns. He was garnered All-America honors the same year from The Sports Network.
At the conclusion of his collegiate career, Harding signed as an undrafted free agent with the Denver Broncos of the National Football League (NFL) in 2014. He spent the 2015 campaign with the Saskatchewan Roughriders of the Canadian Football League (CFL).
