Biography

Junior Season (2010): Team captain as a junior, earning third-team NSCAA all-region, first-team all-MIAA and second-team Academic all-American accolades … played in and started all 20 games … scored seven goals and added an assist for a total of 15 points … took 46 shots with nearly 60% coming on target … had four game-winning goals, leading the way in the MIAA … recorded a multi-goal game in the NCAA Tournament first-round against Midwestern (Texas) State, scoring just 29 seconds apart to give the ’Dogs a 2-0 lead … lead team in goals scored and tied for third in the MIAA … tied for seventh in MIAA for points ... named to the MIAA Academic Honor Roll, an MIAA scholar-athlete and recipient of MIAA Academic Excellence award. 

Sophomore Season (2009): A third-team NSCAA all-region and first-team all-MIAA selection, started all 22 of the team’s games … scored two goals and tied for the team-high (and fourth-best in the MIAA) in assists with five … put the Bulldogs on the board in a 4-0 win against Missouri Southern on Sept. 24 to earn credit for the game-winner … had assists on both goals in a come-from-behind 2-1 home win against Central Missouri on Oct. 12 … took the only three shots on goal in team’s second-round NCAA tournament match … fired 29 total shots on the season, putting 15 on net ... named to the MIAA Academic Honor Roll, an MIAA scholar-athlete and recipient of MIAA Academic Excellence award. 

Freshman Season (2008): One of the team’s top newcomers in 2008, finishing eighth in the MIAA in assists and garnering second-team all-MIAA honors … started 21 of the Bulldog’s 23 games as a true freshman and led team in assists with five … earned nine points (2 goals, 5 assists), good for fourth on the squad … tallied a pair of game-winning goals … delivered the game-winning assist to Brigitte Pohren in the squad’s 1-0 victory against Washburn in the second round of the NCAA tournament. 

High School: Four-year starter and letterwinner ... named conference player of the year and was an all-state selection as a senior ... received first-team all-district and first-team all-conference accolades. 

Personal: Born December 5, 1989, in Kansas City, Mo. ... the daughter of Jim and Karen Buri ... a Biology major.
