NCAA Division II Standards
EVANSTON, Ill. - The Truman women's swimming team finished in fifth place out of seven teams with 349.5 points at the conclusion of Northwestern's TYR Cup that lasted from Friday through Sunday. The Bulldogs were able to turn in several NCAA B-cut times as well as multiple personal bests.

Final Results
Spencer capped a big weekend on Sunday by winning the 100 IM with a time of 56.30 and placing 10th in the 50 fly with a time of 25.74. She was also part of the 400 free relay team that finished in sixth with a time of 3:29.16 along with Fitzpatrick, Strickler and N. Sisson.
The Bulldogs' three other top-10 placings came in the 100 free for Strickler (sixth - 51.65), the 200 back for Nicks (seventh - 2:04.84) and the 800 free relay for
Kortney Betz,
Mikayla Kempf, Barnett, and
Jasmine Roghair (eighth - 7:42.55).
Next up, Truman hosts Western Illinois on Saturday, Dec. 3 beginning at 1 p.m. in Pershing Natatorium.

The consistency continued for Truman on the second day of swimming thanks to six finishes in the top 10. One of those six was by way of a relay and it was the 200 medley in which the Bulldogs were 10th with a time of 1:45.93 on a team made up of Nicks, Neumann,
Libby Opfer, and Strickler.
In the 100 fly, Truman took home second, eighth and 10th place with Spencer, Nicks and
Maggie Hickey, respectively. In that order, those three had times of 55.23, 58.59 and 57.24 (consolation final). Also, N. Sisson was third in the 200 free (1:51.57) and Spencer was seventh in the 100 back (57.25).

On day one of competition at Northwestern for the Wildcats' TYR Cup, the women's team turned in seven top-10 performances including two relays and five solo swims. The two relays were the 200 free in which Truman was fifth with a time of 1:34.60 (
Evyn Spencer,
Jamie Fitzpatrick,
Alison Strickler, and
Nikki Sisson) and 10th in the 400 medley with a time of 3:51.85 (
Hannah Nicks,
Ally Neumann,
Maggie Hickey, and Strickler).
The Bulldogs top placing of the day came from Spencer in the 200 IM when she took home third place with a time of 2:02.20. The other four top-10 swims for Truman included
Emma Barnett in the 500 free (sixth - 4:58.27), N. Sisson in the 500 free (eighth - 5:04.10), Nicks in the 50 back (ninth - 26.60), and Strickler in the 50 free (10th - 23.71).
