KANSAS CITY, Mo.  – The Bulldog Baseball team improved to 7-0 when scoring over 10 runs in a game as they salvaged the series finale with the Rockhurst (Mo.) Hawks 11-10 after dropping a 1-0 extra inning game in the opener.

With the victory, Truman matched the school record in season wins with their 21st and Corban Williams tied the single-season mark in stolen bases, picking up three on the day and tying Brad Jenkins' 1996 total of 30. Paul Trenhaile continued his march for the single-season hit record with two coming in game one on Saturday to sit on 60, three back of Mike Kubinski's 1999 record.

The two games on Saturday were one-run affairs and were the 15th and 16th one-run games this season. It is the most one-run games in a season for the Bulldogs.

Truman will close out the regular season by hosting William Jewell (Mo.) next Saturday and Sunday in Kirksville.
