KIRKSVILLE, Mo. – The Truman Swim teams hosted Western Illinois University and Lindenwood-Belleville in a triangular meet at the Pershing Natatorium and came away with a victories for both the men and women's programs.

Seven Bulldogs were multiple winners on the day including Joel Schawe sweeping both distance races. Schawe won the 1000 free in 9:57.60 and the 500 free in 4:46.79.

Jasmine Roghair won the women's 1000 with a time of 10:56.32 and Nikki Sisson claimed the 500 free in 5:14.96.

Neil Girmus took both breast stroke events with 59.54 in the 100 and 2:14.24 in the 200. Evyn Spencer won the 100 free in 54.04 and 100 breast in 1:08.94.

Etienne Thro won two butterfly events for the men and Hannah Nicks won the 100 fly for the women.

Will Shanel won both the 200 fly and the 400 IM and Ashley Shanel took the same two events on the women's side.

Alison Strickler was the final double winner for Truman with first-place finishes in the 100 back and 50 free events.

Other winners on the day included Abby Hempen in the 200 Breast, Kortney Betz in the 200 free and Alec Morgan in the men's 200 free.

The Bulldogs will compete in another triangular meet next Saturday as they face Lindenwood (Mo.) and the defending NCAA Division II champs, Drury (Mo.) at 1:00 p.m. in St. Peters, Missouri.
