ABILENE, Texas - - For the second straight night, the Truman men's basketball team mounted a ferocious second-half rally, closing a 14-point deficit to two in the waning seconds, but Angelo (Texas) State was able to hold on and defeat the Bulldogs 69-63 in the final game of the ACU Classic on Saturday night.

The Bulldogs (0-2) got out to a quick 10-3 lead, getting early three-pointers by junior Tom Norton and sophomore Isaac Gardner  But after Angelo (1-1) took a 29-24 lead into the intermission, the Rams then pushed the margin to 44-30 with 14:23 to play in the game.
