Spring Break

Spring Break Registration

In an effort to better serve the needs of our students, Residence Life allows on-campus residents to stay  when the residence halls are closed during Spring Break. Residents will be able to stay in their current housing assignment for the duration of break.

Spring 2024 Break: 6 p.m. March 8 to 10 a.m. March 17

Spring Break Registration will open Friday, February 2 at 8 a.m. The deadline to register without a late charge for Spring Break is Monday, March 4th at 5 p.m.

During each break there will be one Professional Staff member on-duty.

Each area that has a resident staying in it will have one Student Staff member on-duty.

All hall desks will be closed. Mail and packages will be held at Mail Services and will not be received at the hall desks until Monday, March 18.

ALL current on-campus residents MUST register to stay over breaks.

The deadline to register without a late charge for Spring Break is Monday, March 4 at 5 p.m.

Perimeter Access will be provided through Student ID card ONLY to a resident’s building for the time they are registered.

  • Residents will be charged $25 per night on campus or $200 for the entire break.
  • A $50 late registration fee will be charged to any resident that signs up after the registration deadline.
  • Due to the exterior entrances, residents of the apartments will not be charged to stay over university breaks.  However, you must still register to stay on-campus during the time the halls are closed. Apartments residents are still subject to late charges for registering past the registration deadline.

  • The last meal served in the dining halls will be lunch on Friday, March 8. Missouri dining hall closes at 1:00 pm and Ryle dining hall closes at 1:30 pm. The dining halls will reopen on Monday, March 18.
