Returning Student Renewal Instructions

This guide serves as step-by-step directions for returning students of Truman State University to update and complete their Housing Profile, as part of their Housing Renewal Application.  If there are any questions or concerns throughout the process, please contact the Residence Life Office at 660-785-4227 or email at reslife@truman.edu.

How to start your Housing Application:

  • Log into Portal
  • Click “Student” under Tools
  • Click “Student Tools”
  • Click “Housing Portal” under Housing
  • Click “Student Login”
  • Click “Apply for Housing!”
  • Select the term you are applying for
  • Review the “Welcome” page for more information
    • Instructions are available on each individual page of the Housing Application

 

In addition to completing your Housing Application, you will need to ensure there is a Housing Deposit on-file to select/ be placed in a housing assignment.  Below are instructions on how to review and confirm the status of your Housing Deposit:

  • Log-in to Portal
  • Select “Student” under “Tools”
  • Select “Student Tools”
  • Scroll down and click on “Student Account Suite” under “Student Finances”
  • Wait to be rerouted to a webpage beginning with secure.touchnet.com
  • Select “Deposits” at the top of the page
  • Select term for deposit
  • Select payment type
