Mid-Scream: A series of mini events on Oct. 10, 11, and 12 designed to help students relax and take a break from studying

SUNDAY

Making Chocolate Covered Pretzel Sticks

Ryle Hall – RM 2021
6 – 7 p.m.

Stop by and enjoy dipping pretzel sticks in chocolate, decorating, and eating (or gifting).  No experience necessary!  Estimated time is ~15 minutes total to make your five pretzel sticks. All supplies provided – just come and enjoy a break from studying and enjoy a sweet/salty snack!

Running with the Provost

Meet at the Bulldog Statue
5:30 p.m.

Enjoy a run around campus. The Provost will meet anyone interested in running a one-mile loop starting at the bulldog statue. Run the loop once or multiple times – however many loops it takes because some days it’s not about speed or miles. It’s just therapy!

Night Tour

Bell Wall
8:15 p.m.

Join campus folklore enthusiast Zac Burden for tales about the founding of Truman, the Fire of 1924, and the subsequent rebuilding of the University. Perhaps these inspiring stories from our past are just what you need to push through the present. The tour will conclude with a visit to the old Kirk Building Gymnasium.

MONDAY

Popcorn with the President

Centennial Hall – Main Lounge
6 – 7 p.m.
