Have you been to graduate school? If so, where did you go? Did you go right after graduating from Truman?

No.

Do you have any advice for Truman students who are interested in going to graduate school?

Find what you are passionate about and live that passion.

How has the education you’ve received from Truman helped you?

Yes, I learned many new and exciting things during my time in Truman. The most important thing I learned was to pursue my thirst for adventure. This has helped me to learn so much about other people and myself.

Is/are there any particular class(es) that you’re glad you took? Did you like it/them at the time?

Economic Anthropology, Intro to Anthropology with Dr. Flowers, and of course the data and research classes with Dr. Johnson.

What is your favorite memory of your time at Truman?

Being creative to find weird and off the wall stuff to do in Kirksville. The best memories where with friends.

Why is Truman a good school at which to study?

The students have a common goal to do their best and the professors care about the students.

Do you have any advice for someone wanting to go into the same line of work as you?

Be fearless.

What do you miss most about campus life/ living in Kirksville?

The affordability, especially now that I live in San Francisco!

If you could teach current students one thing, what would it be?

Take advantage of your time in Truman to learn and get out of your comfort zone.
