As a health science major at Truman, you can choose Pre-Occupational Therapy/Pre-Athletic Training as your area of concentration. This concentration  is designed to prepare you for admission into a graduate program in occupational therapy or athletic training. The  coursework emphasizes courses in psychology and exercise science, including biomechanics, or exercise physiology.

If you plan to pursue a graduate program in occupational therapy, you should maintain a cumulative pre-requisite GPA of 3.25 or higher.

Truman has entered into agreements that provide qualified health science graduates with priority consideration or guaranteed interviews in a number of occupational therapy programs.
