- Nine hours of the electives taken to complete the 39 hours of major coursework must be at 300 level or above.
- It is necessary to complete any prerequisites before enrolling in an elective course; in some cases, the required course may also be counted toward these major electives.
- These electives may be take at any point during the course of study once prerequisites have been met. Typically it is best to take them in the 2nd through 4th year.
- Internship hours may be counted toward these electives (a maximum of 12 hours may be earned in internship).
