When in-person spring semester classes were cancelled, we—the members of Voci, Truman’s Women’s Chamber Choir—decided to complete the term with a project to support next year’s choir. We need your help to raise $750 to commission a composer to write a 3-4 minute choral composition.
We have work groups for:
- choosing a poem for a composer to consider;
- choosing a composer to commission; and
- to work on raising the funds for the project.
While this semester didn’t go as anyone planned (for anyone!), we are working to make the best of this situation and to help future students. Help us “pay it forward” by making your donation today.
