Faculty & Staff

Originally from Kansas City, Zac moved to Kirksville to attend Truman State University for both bachelors and masters level studies.  He stayed on after graduating and has been working in Residence Life since 2002.  Zac served as the Missouri Hall Director for over 15 years beginning in 2004.  He was privileged to be a part of the 2006-2007 renovation and appreciated all the positive changes for everyone living in the building.  He began his work as the Student Life and Development Coordinator for Residence Life in 2019. In this role Zac provides leadership for hiring, training, hall desk, and educational efforts campus wide. Zac is passionate about local history and gives tours about Truman’s fun and often quirky past.  He also believes strongly in civic engagement, recently serving as the president of a local Rotary club and currently as the Mayor of Kirksville. Zac loves to go cycling off campus and finding good hiking trails in the nearby nature areas.
