Dr. Yuna Ferguson has been at Truman since 2014. She received her doctorate in psychological science, with a focus on social-personality psychology, from the University of Missouri and her bachelor’s in psychology from Knox College.
Her research spans various topics related to subjective well-being, including motivation and personal goals, interventions promoting psychological health, remote acculturation, adolescent development, and materialism.
Her teaching interests include General Psychology, Social Psychology, Positive Psychology, and Psychological Research, among others. She is a member of the Society for Personality and Social Psychology, Society for Research on Adolescence, and Society for the Teaching of Psychology.
