Currently I have several large data sets that provide insight into the number of tick species and small mammal in Adair County, MO over more than 10 years. Students use this large data set to develop predictive models for tick activity off host and tick load on mice and design experimental questions to test aspects of these models.
Courses taught include Introductory Biology, Genetics, Writing About Biology, Ecology, Mammalogy, Conservation Biology, Large Mammal Conservation and Management (a study abroad course in South Africa)
