Before joining Truman State University’s nursing faculty in 2006, Pamela accrued over 20 years of inpatient clinical experience in the areas of medical-surgical, obstetrics, staff education, and quality improvement. At Truman, she has taught diverse courses, including Maternal Neonatal Nursing, Public Health, Lifespan Development, and Professional Nursing Leadership. Since 2011, she has also served as the Simulation Center Coordinator, facilitating the development of clinical judgment through simulation and teaching essential skills. Her research focuses on simulation and interprofessional education (IPE).
