Neal McNabb holds Bachelor’s and Master's degrees in Criminal Justice the University of Central Oklahoma and a Ph.D. in Sociology from the University of Oklahoma. His most recent research is a co-authored a report titled Eyewitness Identification Procedures: Results from a Five-State Survey of Local Law Enforcement Agencies in Arkansas, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri and Nebraska. This study sought to better understand the prevalence of evidence-based eyewitness identification procedures in law enforcement agencies, as well as what factors can serve as barriers to implementing these procedures. Prior to completing his Ph.D. in 2009, Dr. McNabb spent six years conducting federal security investigations for the U.S. Office of Personnel Management. He lives with his wife, Jennifer, and two dogs, Ellie and Scooter, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
