From bedside nursing to the boardroom I have served patients, staff and hospitals across the Southeast. My first nursing job was as an ER nurse at UT Medical Center - the region's only Level 1 Trauma center in Knoxville, Tennessee. From there I went on to work in Critical Care, House Supervisor, Manager, and Director over multiple units. Most recently I served as the Chief Nursing Officer at Northeast Regional Medical Center in Kirksville.
I have always loved to mentor and to educate others on health and on nursing so coming to Truman seemed to be a natural progression. It is my honor and privilege to start a new chapter in my career by sharing my knowledge and helping mentor the next generations of nurses here at Truman!
