I am a lifelong resident of the Kirksville area and grew up on a farm in Novinger, Missouri. I attended school in Kirksville from preschool through graduate school, earning my master’s degree in communication disorders. Since then, I have practiced as a speech-language pathologist in educational, clinical, and medical settings. My experience includes serving students in the local school district, supervising student clinicians at the Truman State University Speech and Hearing Clinic, and working PRN at the local hospital. I am especially passionate about supporting individuals with complex communication needs and exploring alternative methods of communication, including American Sign Language (ASL) and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC).
