MSG David N. Franqui enlisted in the United States Army in May of 2010, he attended One Station Unit Training (OSUT) at Fort Knox, KY where he earned his 19D Cavalry Scout Military Occupational Specialty (MOS).  During his career he has served as a Team & Squad Leader, Senior Scout, Platoon Sergeant, Army Recruiter and Military Science Instructor.

His assignments include: Camp Hovey, South Korea, assigned to C TRP, 4-7 CAV, 1ABCT, 2ID; B TRP, 1-75CAV, 2BCT 101st ABN DIV Fort Campbell; Altamonte Springs Recruiting Station, Orlando CO, Tampa BN, 2nd BDE, USAREC; 5-7 CAV, 1ABCT, 3ID Fort Stewart, GA; 3-69AR, 1ABCT, 3ID Fort Stewart, GA and TSU ROTC, 3rd BDE, USACC.

 His military and civilian education include: Bachelor of Science in Finance from University of Maryland University College, Air Assault School, Pathfinder, Eagle Language Institute (Dari, Persian), Rappel Master, Combat Life Savers Course, Equal Opportunity, Army Recruiting Course, Basic Leaders Course, Advanced Leaders Course, and Senior Leaders Course.

MSG Franqui’s awards include the Army Commendation medals, Army achievement medals, Army Service Unit Award Citation, Army Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Korea Defense Service Medal, and The Order of St. George.

MSG David Franqui is a native of Winter Garden, FL, married to Elvira Franqui and has three children: Gohdric 7, Gaibryl 9 and Kathryn 22.
