The 2023-2024 school year marks Ben's third year at Truman, coming to us from Peoria, IL via Milwaukee, WI. Ben primarily teaches courses in Public Speaking (COMM 170), Oral Interpretation (COMM 273), and Performance Studies (COMM 340). He is also the Director of Truman's Forensics (Speech & Debate) Team, which is currently ranked 16th in the nation! Ben researches interpersonal communication, particularly interactions between competitors of opposing forensics teams and the dynamics of interpersonal "frenemy" relationships.
