Dr. Davis came to us from Peoria, IL via Milwaukee, WI in the fall of 2021. He primarily teaches courses in Public Speaking (COMM 170), Oral Interpretation (COMM 273), and Performance Studies (COMM 340). He is also the Director of Truman's Forensics (Speech & Debate) Team, which is currently ranked 14th in speech and 5th in Lincoln-Douglas debate nationally! Dr. Davis uses both quantitative and qualitative methodologies to research interpersonal and group communication, particularly interactions between rival groups/teams and the dynamics of interpersonal "frenemy" relationships.
