Alumni Directory: First-Time Users

To gain access to the Alumni Directory, you will need to email with the following information: 

  • First, middle, and last name 
  • Grad year/s 
  • Street address, city, state, zip 
  • Phone number 
  • Email address 

You will then receive a reply confirming receipt of your request before receiving an email to set-up/change your password for the Donor Portal & Alumni Directory. It will look like this:

When requested for a password, enter the following temporary, randomly-generated PIN: 


You will have an opportunity to change your password after authenticating. 

Truman State University Advancement 

Follow the instructions in the email, clicking Access Account and entering the PIN when prompted for a password. You will then be able to set up your new password with your username being the email provided in your request for access. 

NOTE: You can change your password using the forgot password link on the login page, however, the email used as the username can only be changed by Advancement staff, so you will need to email if you need to change the email associated with your account. 

How to Access the Alumni Directory 

  1. To access the Alumni Directory, go to 
  1. Enter your username and password. 
  1. Once you are in the Donor Portal & Alumni Directory, select the Alumni Directory tab. 
  1. To search the directory, click the Search Directory subtab on the left. 

NOTE: The Alumni Directory is an opt-in only system. Only those Alumni who have opted to be part of the directory will be searchable.
