Why did you choose Truman?
I chose Truman for the small and welcoming community! Professors, staff and students are always willing to help and make the best of the “Truman Experience.”
Why did you choose your major?
I picked Psychology because I originally did not know a specific career pathway, except that i wanted to work with/help people! After some time taking classes I’ve decided to pursue a career in social work and psychology would make a great background for that!
Now that you are a student, what do you like most about being a Truman student?
I love all the opportunities Truman has to offer! Whether it is an organization, internships, study abroad, different academic fields, there are so many different things you can do at Truman!
What piece of advice would you give to first-year students?
Don’t be afraid to put yourself out there and get involved in something and meet new people!
What is your best or favorite experience of your first year at Truman?
Joining Sigma Kappa and being apart of Truman’s campus/meeting so many new people.
What is your favorite thing about living in Kirksville?
Being able to walk pretty much anywhere you need to go!
