Most Spanish majors study abroad. In a faculty-led summer program, a student can bring back 6 credit hours applicable to the major and 6 credits hours of elective credit.

Faculty-led Summer Abroad in Spain or Costa Rica: SPAN 450: Advanced Spanish Grammar and Composition and SPAN 362: Civilization of Spain or SPAN 363: Latin American Civilization

The Dialogues curriculum requires a certain number of courses/credit hours in the following Perspectives: Social, Arts and Humanities, STEM, Communications, and Statistics. The exact number of courses a student will be required to take during their undergraduate career varies individually according to the credit transferred in.
