I came in undeclared with no idea whatsoever of what I wanted to do, and my professors helped me narrow down my interests and find the right major for me. During my freshman year, I took Public Speaking, and three semesters later when I was looking for a new major, I was able to sit down with the professor of that class. He remembered the speeches I gave in class and was able to talk about why he liked the department so much and why it would be a good fit for me, and because of that meeting, I”m now a communication major!
