I enjoy making hand-poured candles using found containers, hand painted cards and hand painted ornaments.
I enjoy going out for coffee with friends.
I've published 5 children's books and a work of poetry.

About:
Raquel Palazzolo is an author, artist, and dedicated advocate for disability rights. With a professional background in storytelling, she has published five children's books and a volume of poetry, and is currently developing her first novel.
Beyond her literary pursuits, Raquel is deeply committed to the independent living movement. She serves on the Board of Directors for Rural Advocates for Independent Living (RAIL), and she recently assisted a local non-profit organization with the launch of a new podcast to highlight advocacy efforts and their work for individuals with disabilities.
A maker at heart, Raquel spends her free time creating hand-poured candles, watercolor art, and artisan crafts. She lives for the quiet moments—countryside drives with her husband and walks with her dog, Bear.
