Meet Joy
Joy's mother, Cathy Boehm, graduated from Northeast Missouri State (Truman's former name) in 1993 with a degree in English.
Joy commuted over 327 hours during her senior year of college to Truman.
Joy loves plants. She bought her first plant (a rubber tree) at a plant sale in Magruder Hall on-campus.

Joy Giedinghagen graduated from Truman in August of 2022 earning her degree in Communication. She is married to her husband, who she's known since eighth grade. His name is Jacob and he works at First Baptist Church of Macon, about 30 minutes from campus.
She loves to run, read, and relax with a good book. In her free time she loves to see her family and water her indoor plants. Joy is excited to help you on your college journey and show you what's so great about being a Truman bulldog.
