Carrie is an animal lover! A few years ago a kitten was found outside of the Admission Office, let's just say that kitten went home with Carrie at the end of the day.
Carrie loves the beach! The older she gets the more she understand why
She loves trying local pizza places while traveling to different cities.
Carrie Outside the Office
Carrie was born and raised in Kirksville, MO and considers Kirksville a great place to grow up. While she is not a Truman alum herself, Carrie is happy to share what it's like to be in Kirksville. She highly recommends hearing directly from our current students what life is like as a student here at Truman. As a former transfer student, it is her mission to make sure that your transfer experience here is the best it can be.
Outside of work, Carrie likes to travel. And when she says travel, that means driving her daughter to whatever softball tournament she is playing in over the summer. She could not imagine spending weekends any other way! With only a few years left of doing that, she treasures each one of those long, cold and/or hot weekends.
When she's not running from one ball field to another, Carrie tries to sneak in a couple of trips a year to just sit on the beach and listen to the waves crash in. The smell, the sound, the sight of the beach just makes her soul happy. She might even bring a book with me.
