Ashleigh Outside the Office
Ashleigh is originally from St. Peters, MO and graduated from Truman State University in May 2018 with a Bachelor of Arts in English and a minor in Biology. During her time as a student, Ashleigh was involved in a wide array of organizations and leadership roles on campus. She acted as Red Cross liaison for the service fraternity Alpha Phi Omega, president of the English Honor Society Sigma Tau Delta, secretary for the Environmental Sustainability Accountability Committee, and was a Student Advisor for two years, earning the Andrea O’Brien Distinguished Service award her senior year.
Ashleigh serves as Truman’s Admission Counselor for Northeastern Missouri and Iowa, traveling to meet with prospective students in these regions, as well as meeting with prospective and admitted students on our campus. When she is not in the office, Ashleigh enjoys exploring the local parks and conservation areas in Kirksville. She is passionate about higher education and literature, with aspirations to become an English professor and published author.
