Justice Systems Student Organizations

The curious and active students at Truman State University are involved in everything they pursue. Here are some of the student organizations that attract justice systems majors.

  • Alpha Phi Sigma
    This National Criminal Justice Honor Society recognizes and promotes high standards of scholarship among students actively engaged in collegiate preparation for professional service in the field of criminal justice. APS sponsors speakers, conducts mock crime scenes on campus, and various other activities.
  • Lambda Alpha Epsilon
    This national fraternity association is devoted to furthering academic goals and professionalism in the area of criminal justice. LAE sponsors speakers, has shooting practices, and various other activities.
  • Mock Trial Team
    Learn about the work of trial attorneys, understand the judicial system, develop critical thinking and enhance communication skills. The Mock Trial Team is sponsored by the American Mock Trial Association.
  • Pre-Law Club
    This club is open to all students interested in learning about law and preparing for law school. Members volunteer at the Kirksville Juvenile Center.
