The plan listed below is designed to provide suggestions for sequencing your major courses, but there are also other ways to sequence most majors. This plan is meant to provide aid in early, provisional planning. Please consult with your academic advisor to make strategic academic decisions about which courses to take each semester.

Learning Plan coursework is chosen by the student to complement the Design courses in consultation with their advisor. Learning Plan coursework cannot be used elsewhere in the degree.

NOTE: Never advise students to take more than three Design and/or Studio Art courses in one semester. Three is maximum.

Transfer or out-of-sequence internal transfer students must meet with Art Department advisor to develop sequence plan.
