Foundation Board: Ryan Shreve

Ryan Shreve has accumulated financial experience working for large, multi-national corporations. He currently serves as the chief financial officer for Fishtech Group, a provider of data-driven cybersecurity solutions headquartered in Kansas City. Prior to joining Fishtech, Shreve held various financial management positions with Garmin International and worked as an auditor for Ernst and Young.

A Truman alumnus, Shreve earned a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting in 2002 followed by a Master of Arts degree in accountancy in 2003. As a student on the Truman campus, he was a member of Sigma Tau Gamma, Order of Omega, Blue Key, Beta Alpha Psi, Interfraternity Council, and Phi Eta Sigma.

Shreve remains active with the University as a member and Scholarship Committee chair of the Kansas City Alumni Chapter. He is also a member of the School of Business Accounting Advisory Board and served as chair on the Kansas City Regional Campaign Committee for the University’s “Pursue the Future” Campaign.

In 2014, Shreve and wife, Lauren (Rase) Shreve (’03), were honored as Truman’s Young Alumni of the Year. The couple recently established the Ryan and Lauren (Rase) Shreve Annual Scholarship to provide opportunities to motivated and deserving Truman students.

Shreve , who has devoted his time and talents to his local community, was named one of The Independent  magazine’s 2018 Rising Stars. Shreve is a founding board member and current treasurer of Noah’s Bandage Project, a non-profit that provides fun bandages to kids and raises money for childhood cancer research. Shreve is also involved with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Kansas City and served on the board of Girls on the Run of Kansas City.

Shreve and his wife reside in Olathe, Kan., and have two sons, Grant and Evan.
