  • History degree requires 40 credit hours minimum. Departmental Honors requires 42 minimum; 1 course must be HIST 4997 (available every spring semester, recommended Semester 6).
  • Graduation Requirements: Total credit hrs>= 120 (40 credit hrs @ 300-level or higher)

1 History majors must take either HIST 3103 or HIST 3104. Currently only HIST 3103 is offered and it is taught each spring.

2 The Dialogues Curriculum requires a certain number of courses/credit hours in the following Perspectives: Social, Arts & Humanities, STEM, Communications, and Statistics. The exact number of courses a student will be required to take during their undergraduate career varies individually according to the credit transferred in.
