Michael Rudy started teaching at Truman in Fall 2009. He completed his undergraduate work at Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville, his Master's work at Eastern Illinois University, and his Ph.D. at the University of Missouri. His course offerings include American National Government, International Relations, Methodology, Comparative Politics, Senior Seminar, Political Thought, Introduction to Political Science, Elections, Peace and Security, Politics and War, and American Foreign Relations. His research interests focus on security studies and foreign policy decision making. He has published in such journals as International Interactions and Conflict Management and Peace Science.
