Matt Eichor, Emeritus 1973-2007  Dr. Eichor holds a B.S. in chemistry from Quincy College and a Ph.D. in Physical/Nuclear Chemistry from the University of Missouri.  Prior to coming to Truman, Dr. Eichor analyzed evidence for Criminal Justice agencies in Missouri, Illinois, and Kansas.  At Truman, Dr. Eichor is Director of the Justice Systems Program and the Northeast Area Criminalistics Laboratory.  His teaching interests include forensic science and chemistry.  His research interests include firearm identification techniques, data analysis utilizing digital images, and public policy analysis in forensic science services.  He is a member of Sigma Xi, the Scientific Research Society, the Missouri Association of Crime Lab Directors, the Northeast Missouri Peace Officers Association, and the American Society of Crime Laboratory Directors.  He has been in Rotary since 1981 and served as District Governor in 1998-99.  His Rotary involvement makes him a good contact for information about Rotary International Scholarships and International Exchange Programs.
