Dr. McNeill has been at Truman State University since 2021. He earned his bachelor’s degree, summa cum laude, from the University of Notre Dame and his master’s and doctorate in Economics from Brown University.
His background is in behavioral economics, experimental economics, and game theory, and current research interests include commitment and flexibility-seeking behavior, optimal search behavior, and (non)optimizing behavior in the face of informational costs.
Dr. McNeill teaches courses including Principles and Intermediate Microeconomics, Mathematical Economics, Econometrics, Behavioral and Experimental Economics, and the New Majors Seminar.
