My primary interests and experiences are in equine science & nutrition. My research interests include the growth & development of young horses as well as nutritional influences on reproduction. Recently I have been working with students interested in exercise physiology related topics such as the impact of weight load on stride characteristics, methods of mitigating back pain in performance horses, and temperature changes in the distal limb when various forms of leg wraps are used during exercise.
