Karen Bjork Kubin has been teaching in a variety of capacities and disciplines for more than 25 years, and has been exploring the tensions and connections between language, music, and visual art for as long as she can remember. Her poems and essays have appeared in Spillway, Cider Press Review, Whale Road Review, Ruminate, Relief, and others, as well as several anthologies. Her chapbook, These Walls are Starting to Glow, a collection of poems that gives voice to some of the women found in Mother Goose rhymes, was published in 2023 as part of the dancing girl press chapbook series.
