Master Sergeant (MSG) Jeffrey A. Paluso is a native of Gilroy, California. He entered the United States Army and graduated One Station Unit Training (OSUT) at Fort Benning, Georgia in 2001. Upon graduation, he was awarded the Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) of 11B (Infantryman).
MSG Paluso’s assignments include 1st BN, 32nd Infantry Regiment, Fort Drum, New York; 1st BN, 17th Infantry Regiment, Fort Wainwright, Alaska; 1st BN, 63rd Armor Regiment (CAB), Fort Riley, Kansas; 4th Ranger Training Battalion, Fort Benning, Georgia; 1st BN, 16th Infantry Regiment, Fort Riley, Kansas, and currently Truman State University.
MSG Paluso has deployed in support of Task Force Falcon, Operation Iraqi Freedom, Operation New Dawn, and Korea Rotational Force. He is currently serving at Truman State University, Missouri as a Military Science Instructor.
His awards and decorations include: Bronze Star Medal, Meritorious Service Medal (Oak Leaf Cluster), Army Commendation Medal (4 Oak Leaf Cluster), Army Achievement Medal (11 Oak Leaf Cluster), Army Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Kosovo Campaign Medal (Star), Iraqi Campaign Medal (5 Star), Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Korean Defense Service Medal, Noncommissioned Officer Professional Development Ribbon (Numeral 3), Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon (Numeral 5), NATO Medal, Valorous Unit Citation, Meritorious Unit Citation, Ranger Tab, Combat Infantryman’s Badge, Expert Infantryman’s Badge, Airborne Badge, and Air Assault Badge. MSG Paluso is a member of the Honorable Order of St. Maurice.
