Dr. Kerby holds CPA certification and is a CMA®. She began teaching undergraduate and graduate accounting courses at Truman in 1982.  Dr. Kerby is an advocate of the case method, particularly for upper-level and graduate classes. Her research interests include student learning and assessment, cost management, and case writing.  She serves on the boards of the Missouri Rural Enterprise & Innovation Center (Kirksville) and the MOCPA Education Foundation Board.  Outside of work, she enjoys walking, swimming, Cardinal baseball, and Bulldog sports.
