BA, Communication and Music - Truman State University
Dawn began working in Truman's Office of Admissions in July 2003 after graduating from the University with a BA in Communication and Music. Taking advantage of the variety of performing opportunities at Truman, Dawn was a member of Franklin Street Singers, Sigma Alpha Iota (women's music fraternity), and the marching band. Dawn continues to be active in the Kirksville community as a member of the Community Chorus, a member of First Christian Church, and by volunteering at Kirksville High School and with the Kirksville Arts Association. On campus, she advises Sigma Alpha Iota and the Pershing Society. Dawn's husband, Walt, also works for Truman and they stay busy with three young sons.
As the Director of Stewardship, Dawn works with Foundation Scholarships, the Lyceum Committee, and donor relations.
Originally from Jefferson City, MO, Dawn attended Jefferson City High School.
